Case study - Objective: To evaluate the response of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in a female patient breast cancer survivor taking Tamoxifen to prevent recurrence. The patient is a forty-four-year-old female with complaints of night sweats and hot flashes. She has been prescribed Tamoxifen and is currently experiencing night sweats and hot flashes; the patient was seen in a private practice.
